jeffro
heres the scoup: need help asap. open to ALL suggestions. brakes worked before but were spongy. replaced Master Cylinder with a used one. Bleed brakes through the valves on the calipers. the brakes now have a stiff normal feel while the engine is OFF. the brakes now have no resistance while the engine is ON. i dont understand why i dont have any pedal while the car is running, but ive got plenty of pedal while the car is off. 1994 Integra LS equipped with ABS. ansonivan
Completely wild guess since I've never dealt with one of those early abs cars: - need to bleed the abs pump
Wheezle
Suggestion is to gravity bleed or vaccuum bleed the brakes as it sounds that you have air in your lines still. I just dealt with what sounds like the same problem on my truck.

I just dealt with what sounds like the same problem on my truck. i tried bleeding the MC where the brakelines meet the MC, again with no success. tomorrow im going to pull the MC out, make sure the seals aren't rotted away, do a benchbleed, then rebleed the lines again. might try gravity bleeding after i do some reading on it

jeffro
booster might be junk worked before it was removed. its as if the brakes finally grab about a half inch from the floor. or pumping it.
