TurboRust
First off I have a husky/ yel lab mix that 7 years old and about 65 lbs and a black lab/pointer thats coming up on 5 yrs old and about 60lbs They've been allowed to rule the roost for the past few years and with the baby around it was time for things to change. Ryan and I exchanged pm's and a few phone calls, and then he took time out of his night to come and evaluate the dogs, free of charge. We decided on shock collar training being the best suited for our lifestyle. We set up a time and he took the dogs for a long weekend. As they ran out to his truck they pulled him the whole way on leash. When he brought them back, the leash was draped over his shoulder and he was in control. My husky would usually jump and lunge at anything that moves, and during our "test drive" with him all trained we encountered a loose dog, multiple barking dogs, and various neighborhood cats, He was hardly phased and the leash remained limp. What I found most amazing was not just what he did with the dogs, but what he enabled us to do with them in the future. The groundwork was set. Is it on us to keep training them? of course, but we would've had no idea where to start without his help.. A+ Des and I sincerely thank you.(as does little Paige)
