Mortgage and Loans POSITION: DESCRIPTION: Our client has six positions for professionals with mortgage and / or loans experience to provide internal and external customer support. These individuals will work as part of a team, supporting projects, and responding to questions and inquiries regarding the servicing system (MSP) and specific cases. They will perform research into issues, provide responses, and escalate issues where needed. The successful candidates will have strong analytical skills coupled with superior customer support skills. They will exhibit strong listening skills as well as verbal communication skills, and be relatively "tech savvy" with how systems work. They will be detail oriented and able to research questions and problems that arise. SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE: Required: • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Strong written and oral communication skills • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, Access , Word, Visio, Adobe • Proficient time management skills • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization, and adapting communication to the intended audience • Ability to analyze and triage escalated issues, determine root cause, and define optimal solutions in timely manner • Can work independently or on a team, based upon task needs • Comfortable working on small and large-scale projects end-to-end following a standard approach, adhering to a documented project life-cycle - Experience working in the business areas of a mortgage or lending organization is strongly preferred Preferred: • 3-5 years experience with MSP servicing system • 2+ years experience with Passport and Director Portal tools • 3+ years of mortgage banking knowledge in both the Servicing and Default lines of business • 3+ years experience with project initiatives • Solid knowledge of Sox and Audit guidelines including the certification process relating to system access and user security - College education is a plus These positions are contract to hire after six months, however not all six positions will be converted to full time employment.
