smokin5s
wow, I can't believe that's an actual company... surprising that they would have that much business. their address is: 2572 oak stone drive columbus, ohio 43231
87GT
x-clamp fix is that what yo did? mine still overheated after I did it. If I took it out of the case and sat the motherboard on my tv stand it worked. I did this for about 2 years no problems at all. Just keep it clean. Rally Pat
If you bought an x-clamp, do the towel trick on it. It should fix it.

Slowbalt
cause it's wrong Well that argument certainly won me over So you are saying that it is "wrong" for a company to take responsibility when they manufacture and sell a product knowing full well it has defects? Discuss.
dover
Yeah maybe the company has moral issues but he is simply stating that he has the INTEGRITY not to be a piece of shit and fuck over a store/company. Don't be a dick head about it because you feel the need to "fight" the man, your argument is probably the most ignorant thing I have read today thank you for that. Mojoe
Note to self: don't buy anything from Slobalt. Dover is seeing right.
Slowbalt
The discussion in here shows a lack of understanding of store policies and procedure. When one returns a defective xbox360 Walmart doesn't take a hit for that, Microsoft does......the company that manufactured the device in the first place. Walmart simply marks it as defective and Microsoft reimburses them for the unit. @Dover INTEGRITY would be proactively correcting KNOWN issues with your product and providing proper support instead of dismissing hundreds and thousands of concerns that have been tested and proven to exist. @ Mojoe Anyone who actually knows me would never have an issue purchasing anything from me because unlike others, I stand by anything that I do or sell because that is what INTEGRITY is....

twistedfocus1647545489
Also, to anyone assuming that returns always go back on the manufacturer, you'd be surprised how many manufacturers these days don't accept returns. More and more of them are tired of dealing with the returns process (and getting f'ed over by people "fighting the man") so instead they offer a discounted rate to those who handle returns on their own instead of sending them back for credit. It's an instant win for the manufacturer and a gamble for the distributor. If the distributor suddenly gets a wave of defective products back that they are simply destroying then they take the hit on their own bottom line, not the manufacturer. This may not be true in this case, but I see it a lot in a different market.

We can all argue about would be's and possibly's......do you have any evidence of this? When I spoke with "the corporation" about this (multiple times , mind you) they said that they send them back to Microsoft and are reimbursed. I have a feeling that Walmart is not living paycheck to paycheck so let's assume that it takes one month to get the money.....who cares? Further more, has anyone here ever sent the xbox back to Microsoft? hardly a 2 week process. Some of my friends have had to wait for MONTHS to get the box back and this is all assuming that your issue is covered by the warranty as Micro only extended the warranty for rrod and not laser issues, disc scratching issues, tray opening issues, etc. I am not sure why you would attack me simply because of your lack of knowledge and reasoning power. If you don't like what I have to say, then you are more than welcome to refute it with reason and logic but to attack me as a person shows your lack of character and reasoning skillz.
87GT
You are all stupid. When you buy an xbox 360 from anywhere they scan the bar code on the system. That is why there is a clever little cut out on the box. This is attached to your receipt. If you return one with a different UPC they are going to give you a hard time. Many of us are fully aware of this but luckily Microsoft puts the sticker on the outside of the easily removable case.....
87GT
You are still a dick for suggesting to illegal return something you didn't buy. Now go sit in the corner and think about your actions.
