04 GTP - Fog Lights on with bright lights

04 GTP CompG with the below style turn/fog light setup. I noticed today that the fog lights stay on when switching from low beams to high beams. And while driving with lows, I can not shut off the fogs; they are always on.

Fuse is good. Swapped a relay for the wiper relay. Fog light emblem shows up and disappears on dash display as it should when attempting to turn fogs on and off. No changes before/after fuse/relay checks and swaps.

I am assuming someone has fucked with the car to have the ability to run fogs with high beams. Anyone know where to start "un"doing that? Also, the fogs seam REALLY dull at night; not near as bright as other cars I have now or in the past.

Great stab at it, but I have no jumper wires between any of my relays. The symptoms are much as described in your link though.

hmm best bet is to sign up an make a post im sure some ones had this issue. goodluck.

any reason why you want to un do it? i had it done on my 04 gpgt an thought it looked alot better.

I am ok with the fogs on during high beams. It's the dimness of the fog lights that got me looking into them. I just pulled the headlights and looked for any sign of this method - clicky - and no signs of any non-factory wiring.

So, no extra wires in fuse block and no custom wiring between headlights, turns, or fogs.

Odd.

Also, fogs are only 37.5w, but maybe that's normal, looking it up now.
