I've been beating on this thing for a month now, it's pretty solid. The scuttlebutt on electro-tech-online.com is that these are the same unit as the Hakko, made by the same factory only the factory is selling them out the backdoor for a quarter what Hakko charges. That's the only reason I bothered with a china unit, so far so good. I originally purchased this to pop free the SMD injector drivers on AEM EMS, it also makes installing the SMD 74HC373's on JDM square ECUs very easy.
