shop recommendation

I have a coworker with a 1999 Mustang GT that's fuel pump gave out.

Can anyone recommend a shop other than a dealer that would/could replace it?

It will have to be towed. We called around Westerville and everyone is saying dealer only.

Why is everyone saying dealer only? Bunch of sissies who don't want liability. We can do it, but we are also almost 2 weeks out on the schedule. The pump would need to be purchased from the dealership for the best quality, but no harm in getting some prices from some other places as long as it is a good name brand pump that is not known for being a pile of shit.

Could try CARS Clintonville Auto Repair on Polaris or Oakland Park. I don't know what their schedule is like, but they do our head gasket/engine replacement for us.

We can do it no problem. With 10 lifts up it is amazing how fast things are going out the door so we can get it in/out quickly. I have Walbro's in stock ($90) or he can spend more on a factory Ford pump if he wants. Call (614-444-5884) or shoot me an email me at: sales@ipsmotorsports.net
