I think I've posted that link on here about 3 dozen times, last time you asked this stuff I gave you other links so you could research yourself, then suggested using the search button.

 

This is such a simple process that if you can't figure it out on your own, forget that it's possible

If you're going to do it yourself, I say stay away from the "1click" root apps. Do it the right way, not only do you stand a better chance of not screwing something up (unless you screw something up, lol), but you also become familiar with the process. I see so many times where people root their phones, but then when something goes wrong they have no idea WTF is going on.

From everything I've seen unrevoked seems to be the safest root method for HTC phones. I've rooted and unrooted multiple times without so much as a hiccup on my Incredible
