Skinner Posted December 9, 2010 Report Share Posted December 9, 2010 Hey have a Maytag gas stove that when its on for a while or over a certain temp it will cut out and not fire back up. You can smell gas as well. I think it is either the igniter is weak or the temp sensor. The oven is 8 years old. I have found the part and now I just need to figure out how to get it out I am looking for a repair manual that will show me how to pull the stove apart correctly to replace the igniter.
