TurboNova
Wife did well for Christmas and got me a pair of 275/60/15 MT DR and a Moser Rear end Girdle http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01049.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01050.jpg And then a Big Thanks for VS Racing, I initially bought a mpt70 q trim 1.0ar for the nova and once I bought the abruzzi th400 and decided to do all the chassis work and have the rear end built I figured more boost was in order. VS racing gladly returned my mpt70 that was brand new in box after about 3-4 months and upgraded me for the additional cost to the mpt76 q trim wheel http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01051.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01052.jpg
Mattsv8
ull like the 76 ive seen motors into the 1000hp range. but 900 would be a good reliable goal. and keep the heat down with it. my buddie just got a mp 76 for his camaro too. should be a great yr for cr with the turbo cars. LS_Sonoma
Excuse my lack of turbo knowledge. Are you going to run a PVC system? I have those same valve covers and I noticed there is not a provison for one.

There is a 5.3 with a gt2 cam (small) and stock everything else going 8's on e85 and making 685whp with plenty a street miles in a light gen1 rx7. I have been watching these motors do work since parish started out. I will never do gen 1 again

TurboNova
UPDATE I have been sick so progress has not been easy but here is what is in the works now. I have two weeks to have some things buttoned up and get it roller again so it can goto the chassis shop. I tore the front end down to do some preventative maintenance and clean up the frame before installing some new parts http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_7400.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_7402.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_7402.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01055.jpg I pulled the subframe off the car and wire wheeled it then scrubbed with simple green http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01057.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01059.jpg After all that I used the same stuff that I used on the underbody which was Eastwood Rust Encapsulator and then Eastwood Chassis Black. For all the reviews I read on chassis paints I was very happy with the finish, the pics dont do it justice, it really was a smooth overall finish http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01067.jpg I put the subframe back on and install the new body mounts, also put on the control arms, still need to bolt everything down. i have been working on the firewall as well, its along way off but I plan on smoothing it out the best I can. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01061.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01062.jpg here is a mock up of the firewall fill I have been working on http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01063.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01064.jpg

TurboNova
thanks guys, there will be more updates here soon, then the updates will come from chassis shop. The big brown truck dropped off the caltracs and split monos last week as well. I am anxious to get it there and then get it back so I can start putting the engine in the car and get onto the fun stuff like making the hotside. TurboNova
Been a little while since an update. The front end was put back together and the car was taken to Martin Motorsports for: 10 Pt Cage Frame Ties New Full length floor pans Fuel Cell Mount Rear End build Caltrac install and split mono install Some Pics http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01068.jpg Floor pans were worse shape than I thought http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01070.jpg So these are going in http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01084.jpg Sorry for crappy pics and the car being dirty from the trailer ride, here is the firewall getting welded and smoothed out http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01086.jpg The housing tubes were welded to the center section and then cut off the factory housing ends and welded on big ford housing ends so I no longer rely on c clips or eleminators http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01076.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01074.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01080.jpg Rear is getting a full spool, 33 spline moser axles. 3.23 gears, moser girdle and 1310 pinion yoke
