Mr. Jones
Looks like there are a few options out there, the innovative LM2 dual setup is probably on the top of the list, includes a data logger at the same time which is nice... EDIT: FAST also appears to have a nice all in one setup. Anybody have any experience or recommendations on these ?
thorne
the LM-2's logging is so so compared to what say vagcom or other packages offer. But it's a solid wide band.
CRed05
Zeitronix Zt-2 is a popular one with B5 S4 guys, so is the Innovate LM2

Mr. Jones
this lol While VAGCOM is nice, they most certainly don't have widebands from the factory. I know it's on the side of overkill/ paranoid, but I'd just feel better with a wideband in each pipe... PS: Be Jones have full Ross-Tech cable / suite. EAD. Nickey4271647545519
FAST and Innovate are both very nice choices. I'd have no problems using either one.

Cordell
Been using the basic Innovate LC-1 for a few years without issue, but I don't use their datalogger. For connecting it to a tuner/logging set-up it's awesome.
Nate1647545505
FJO or NGK's AFX. FJO should still have their data bus which allows you to link both units.
Mr. Jones
FJO or NGK's AFX. FJO should still have their data bus which allows you to link both units. Just read that FJO allows 2 inputs with 1 guage, it will show the leanest of the 2 inputs.Very cool, will make it a bit more tidy, this is just for at a glance reassurance while dicking around. FJO also offers the nice NTK sensors vs bosch which everyone else seems to use. Will check out the NGK solution now, thanks. schmuckingham
Had a FAST unit in the Lightning, it was nice when parked but trying to mount it so I could see it while driving sucked
Dave1647545494
your factory upstream sensors should already be wideband......

NGK has one of the best controllers, considering their parent brand, ECM makes lab grade equpiement. FJO isn't far off the mark either, they make very rugged and reliable units. clone
I have been looking at Fast for the race track tuning just have to see how to mount the O2's ahead of the evac in the header collector.
Mr. Jones
your factory upstream sensors should already be wideband...... No, not really.... And they are far from trustworthy as most are.

Carefull, most sensors have a max operating temp. The Bosch sensors are around 1000*F. LSU 4.2 Spec Sheat

clone
When I talked with Fast they said the evac would mess with the A/F and to mount them upstream. I was also concerned about leaded fuel and they said it will shorten the life but most racers only run them to tune then take them out until they need to tune again. The headers are ceramic coated and I need to find out how to mount the sensor bung also.

NTK's (the sensor) are very resistant to failure, but not immune -- but $$$$. General rule of tumb: if you are looking through the exhaust pipe, the mounting point should be placed between 10 o`clock and 2 o`clock, mainly to avoid condensatation. Evac would defintely skew readings, keep it as far upstream as possible.
Got-Boost?
What exactly are you wanting to do? I've had good luck with the Innovate stuff (DL32, LC1, XD16)...
