06busa
I am selling my used Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus calculator. The calculator is in good condition and there are no problems. I do not have the cover for the calculator and batteries are not included. http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh34/rf120g/Y29udGVudDovL21lZGlhL2V4dGVybmFsL2ltYWdlcy9tZWRpYS80NTQ-1.jpg

Casper
No offense, but it's a TI-83. I'd recommend just donating it to Salvation Army or the such. You might be able to get like $10 out of it selling it, but you can get more as a donation and write it off on your taxes. I think Salvation Army will value it at around a $60 donation. FYI. 06busa
They actually sell for quite a bit more on Ebay than $10...just didn't feel like selling it on there right now and was going to try local first.

They sell for quite a bit still, since TI has a monopoly on the education market. Thats why these things still sell for $80-90 new despite being 15 years old. Its what the teachers know how to use and have software for, so they aren't going away anytime soon.
Casper
This is a TI-83, not a TI-83+, correct? If so, and they're going for more on eBay, I'd do that and run. The 83's aren't much use in school anymore. Most require at least an 83+ but recommend an 85/86 or higher.

But the pic is of the actual calc showing it is the plus version.

Casper
The 85/86 models both have not been used in years. You might want to rethink that one. I mean to add 89 in there as well, but 85/86 are both still heavily used. Think about it... schools require at least an 83+.... the 85 and 86 are better than the 83+... why wouldn't they be used? PS: I still use an 85.

LOL And for the record, both use the Zilog Z80 6MHz processor, but the 85 has more ram, bigger display, higher resolution, etc. And supports more functions, like differentiating equations.
