Empty beer keg

Does anyone have an empty they have not returned yet? I'm sorting out whether I can fit a half barrel with a standard ball tap in my fridge. I'd rather try it with an empty first and find out if I need to buy a low profile tap or not. I just need to borrow it long enough to check the height.

wouldnt it be easier just to get someone to measure one for you? lol

I know the standard height of the keg, but I already have a tap. I need to make sure that my tap will fit on a 1/2 barrel without crimping the lines in and out. I know it will be close, but I don't know by how much.

I have one you can borrow. Im out in London

I'm in the Hilliard/Galloway area, so you're not too far from me. I appreciate it.

Thanks for the loan Duff. Once I get a new support shelf built I'll get it back to you. Won't be too much longer till I have both taps hooked up and will have regular light beer on tap and home brew.
