Richard Cranium
Does anyone have an empty they have not returned yet? I'm sorting out whether I can fit a half barrel with a standard ball tap in my fridge. I'd rather try it with an empty first and find out if I need to buy a low profile tap or not. I just need to borrow it long enough to check the height.
El Karacho1647545492
I have one (its actually my roommates but he probably wouldn't care) on my 3rd floor place at the Watermark. Hit me up after this weekend and we can possibly make arrangements (I'll be in Athens)

Richard Cranium
wouldnt it be easier just to get someone to measure one for you? lol I know the standard height of the keg, but I already have a tap. I need to make sure that my tap will fit on a 1/2 barrel without crimping the lines in and out. I know it will be close, but I don't know by how much. I have one you can borrow. Im out in London I'm in the Hilliard/Galloway area, so you're not too far from me. I appreciate it.

Richard Cranium
Fits like a charm. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=590&pictureid=4710 Thanks for the loan Duff. Once I get a new support shelf built I'll get it back to you. Won't be too much longer till I have both taps hooked up and will have regular light beer on tap and home brew. Richard Cranium
New shelf for the base of the fridge. The old one never would have supported the weight of a keg. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=590&pictureid=4711

Duff1647545513
You doing the home brew yourself?
Richard Cranium
My brother in law started home brewing a few months ago. The stuff he has done so far has been pretty tasty. I'm thinking about giving it a try myself. We have 5 gallons of Cream Stout we're getting ready to tap, and a Honey porter to be brewed this week. Duff1647545513
That's awesome, i might have to look into the home brewing thing some. Around what does his alcohol by volume usually turn out?
