SLOWLX
Were to start? Do you have to take the grille off?
Cordell
Pull the grill, carefull not to crack it, its all cliped in and the clips in the headlights can be a little stiff, then just pull the clips up on the back of the headlights, falls right out. Some of the later Trailblazers didn't have the cross bar all the way across and you don't have to pull the grill.

RC K9
It's a pain at first. I did it quite a few times. I put silver stars in and apparently the TB's don't like aftermarket bulbs because it kept blowing them. I put the stock ones back in and haven't had a problem since. But to answer your question, yes, you need to pull the front grill off and be careful because it will crack easily.
