e-rape long and slow. lol. What ever floats your boat. j/k

This is close to what I am working on now. I prefer the older Cressida's because they weigh 2400 pounds fully loaded and there is a ton of weight to get rid of. They also have a solid rear end so I can use the Toyota Truck rear ends that have a huge aftermarket support for. Plus it's 4 doors so I can still have fun and still get the kids in and out.

I prefer to tinker with 4m/5m/7m engines. Yes I know there are the jz engines, but the arrogance that comes with those engines gives me a headache. Yes I am aware of the uz engine engines, but it's too many parts to replace if I grenade an engine.

My next project will will be in god knows how long(with white walls, roof rack, and a turbo 1fz engine):

I am not that much into the wide rims, but the styling of the car is up my alley. Simply done and well thought out.

Interesting taste in cars. Any in-process photos of what you're tinkering with currently?

I think there's a Farkas or two here you might enjoy meeting.

Welcome. +rep

That's another thing that's great about CR. You can always count on the Admins to be supportive. :nono:

I guess I chose the losing side, once again.

I went middle ground. ;)

HA! These popped up while I was in the thread just now. Very nice taste, though to see your actual project would've been nice. I love old Toyo's myself and have fought the haters and jzpushers in keeping with my 7m in this Supra and my 90. Miss the shit out of my MKI Supra and MKIII Corolla, too. :(

No there's no pictures of what I am working on now. It is a 79 Cressida, but its completely dismantled and spread throughout the house. So there's really no point. It currently does have a 5m engine for now. I will start gathering parts to put a 7m head on the 5m block. I already have a MS-II for it that I assembled. Yes I am going to with a w58. With the hybrid engine I am planning, I need the closer gears since the engine will rev high and have to stay in a narrow power band.

There's a few of us on here who have fallen for old Toyotas. Here's my headache:

It's missing a piece of trim and has a faggy sticker in that photo, but everything else is good. PM me if you want to know any specifics.

Oh, and welcome.

Welcome to the board man, it' cool if you don't want to disclose a ton of info with the way some people troll boards looking for cars/things to steal. Not that we have had a issue here that should certainly be respected.

Love the older stuff, probably not as much as some, but I certainly have the Toyota bug in the form of MKII MR2's. Welcome to the board, hope to meet you sometime and chat it up. +Rep

Welcome, the soft spot on the top of my head gets itchy when I see a clean old yota.

Allow me to make a suggestion. Try posting a couple pics of what you're working/going-to-be-working on and show us all what's going on with it. I can guarantee that 90% of this forum would see a pile of parts, tools, whats-its, and doo-dads lying around +rep you for that alone. Edited by sol740

+rep for fellow Toyota enthusiast

I have a huge soft spot for MX32s.. I've mulled over the thought of finding one for some time now, but the Midwest makes finding a clean chassis nearly impossible. I pretty much love everything PJ Bonificio has touched, but I especially love his MX.

Anyhow, between me and my brother, we've got an interesting collection of Toyotas and a wide array of Toyota knowledge.

My Rides:

Heavily built 16V AE

And my TE which is unfortunately being sold

I'll let my brother post his own cars.
