Any dish network techs?

I am wanting to program my dishnetwork remote to control the input button. when the tech was here he said he would program to use the input for me as they usualy dont. but he forgot as did i. all the other buttons work.....thanks.

Its not a guarantee the dishnetwork remote will work for the input.

 

But basically what you have to do is what is called a "power scan"

 

Hold down the input button until all the lights flash at the top of the remote.

Let go.

push the big red power button and then let go.

push the channel up button 1 time per second.

Eventually what ever equipment will turn on/ off.

When that happens press the pound key.

 

It can be time consuming, but it will work.

 

Also, you can call them up and ask for the codes that might work for whatever equipment you have.
