WTB: Porter cable or similar buffer

better read up on proper use of a "high quality" buffer, I just watched the idiots in the wash bay totally fuck up a truck with a buffer because they had no bussiness using one.

 

I don't know you, thats just food for thought. Maybe a mild electric "wax applicator" is all you need.

I went to Harbor freight and picked an adjustable speed (400-4000 rpm) sander/polisher for $19 bucks last year. Then went and got two 3M polishing pads for $20 each.

 

That is a buffer that just spins he is wanting a dual action buffer that does not damage paint (doesn't work as well on really bad paint either)

Oh so he wants an orbital buffer.

 

I have one . 12" I believe. Old craftsman. It works fine. Just haven't used it in years. Just one speed.. slow. Will put on and take off wax/polish very easily but won't get down into the paint.
