Air Bags

Static electricity is your enemy. Typically they're not too bad to replace. Most wheel mounted ones are held on by screws through the back of the wheel. The pasanger side should be in a bracket with a few bolts to hold it on place. Does the dash have a panel it came out through (Like a flip up panel) or did it split the cover when it deployed?

You're going to have to buy new impact sensors, and an airbag module or have your current module's crash data erased

This is what I was thinking, I'm sure this varies some between manufacturers, but you'd need to check with a Ford tech or bodyshop to see.

the SDM must be replaced, once it sets a deploy code its locked.

so front crash sensors, 2 bags, SDM, you might also need a clock sping.

This.

If you're ever messing with live bags, make sure you allow adequate time for the capacitors to drain.
