Crossle
I wish I had a 2K budget for any of my cars. Or a 2K budget in general to flip cars right now.
zeitgeist57
Fix your Nissan first. Then, try to sell it for the Miata...or, just keep the Nissan. Poor college kid? Bad time to start flipping cheap cars with problems. I'd wait until after graduation.
NismoTuned
true that.. ill probably stick w the s13 unless i can scrape enough together for that red turbo MR2... talk about sexy
Crossle
Randy's car will need work too. Just keep that in mind, he will tell you all about it, but $3800 is a great deal for a MKII Turbo even considering the work it will need. The driveline isn't hurt or anything, just more maintenance items for a 15+ year old car.
NismoTuned
yea thats understandable. I really wish i could just find someone do fix the head gasket so that i dont have to go to a shop and get ripped off. Like i just wish i could have it fixed asap. it hsnt been driven since like nov n its killing me. i just want my damn car back up and running
10phone2
Honestly, fix it yourself. If your going to be getting more serious about cars, may as well start learning. Taking it to the garage is convenient, but the labor cost add up quick.
NismoTuned
No idea how to, no tools no where to do it otherwise I would
Crossle
Plenty of reputable shops locally that would be more than happy to do the work. I know it's cheaper to DIY, but if you can't, you can't. I will not make any recommendations personally, but I am sure there are some people who have had work done at shops that would be reasonable and totally capable of completing the work.
