Machine Shop

Does anyone know of a good machine shop in the Cincinnati (or Dayton) area?

I'm looking to put a GSX-R rear wheel on my SV650 and I need a little bit machined off the wheel, and I also need some spacers made up.

Anyone on here recommend anybody?

P.S. sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I'll make the spacers for you - no problem. Just give me the dimensions you need.

How much do you need taken off of the wheel? I'll assume it's part of the hub that you need taken off?

I need 2mm off my caliper hanger bracket, 3mm off the wheel side of the cush drive and 3mm off the sprocket side of the cush drive. If I do it that way I won't have to do anything to the wheel.

I'll also need a 26MM OD by 20MM ID sleeve at 241MM long.

I'll need to double check everything though.

About how much do you think?

Thanks!

I'll do the spacer free of charge - would it be easier to make two spacers; one for each side - with a tube in between them? I hate like shit to bore something that's 241mm long as it's a pain in the butt.

I'll also do the caliper hanging bracket free of charge.

My lathe isn't big enough to handle the wheel, but my friend has one big enough. I'll ask him if I can use it. Probably flip him $25 or so for the use of his equipment.
