Mr. Jones
Disclaimer: These are not DSLR Shots, just taken with cheap P&S. I know they are: *Sucky *Grainy *Crappy *Not 23megapixels of DSLR awesome. I loved watching the sun set like this every day. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3105/5808880431_050c7762a3_b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2503/5809443600_229e4c32d0_b.jpg THE MOON! http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2113/5808904111_cb2279d76c_b.jpg A pigeon. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5114/5808904003_f7b6a81480_b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2264/5808903749_7446a205d7_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3252/5809443170_9909d01643_b.jpg http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5303/5808887433_50993290f3_b.jpg Heading through the Gibraltar Pass, could hardly stand up on deck, they eventually closed it. 70mph sustained winds was AWESOME. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2373/5809467416_7a354ff7eb_b.jpg

Guest Hal
That damn channel that shows where you are is my favorite! Royal Caribbean's in nicer than Carnival. Not to mention we were in a Penthouse Suite and didn't have an LCD TV... http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f277/punkhott712/100_0410.jpg http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f277/punkhott712/100_0409.jpg
Tractor
+1 for royal caribbean. Pretty cool photos, a point and shoot is often the best camera for long depth if field photos such as landscapes.

Mr. Jones
jones what camera are you shooting with ? Just a little P&S, Canon SX30. Best part is the IS 35x zoom. :megusta:
TTQ B4U
Just a little P&S, Canon SX30. Best part is the IS 35x zoom. :megusta: That's one of the best bridge cameras out there IMO. I've come close to getting one and may still. I'm not one for taking my DSLR's on vacation. When I do, I most always have a bridge camera and P&S with me too. Tractor
1, 2, and 7 are cool. Horizons typically look best straightened, but thats minor. I'd probably try to bring out more contrast between the shadows of the foreground stuff and the sea/sky in #2. #7 is nicely composed, the only thing that might make it look better is some type of filter or maybe just a white balance adjustment. The yellow look is very odd looking.

Mallard
Moorea, French Polynesia. Hilton Lagoon Resort and Spa. Couples retreat was in Bora Bora, which is a different island about a 45 min flight away, but the same set up with the over-water bungalow's. We went to Moorea instead of Bora Bora because there is more to do on the island, you can get to it with a 45 min ferry ride from Tahiti, and the snorkeling at our resort was supposed to be some of the best (and I believe that). Save up your hotel points! I could have never afforded to go there without them. Edited June 9, 2011 by Mallard
