-Alex-
I was shocked to see a big block Mopar engine under the hood, most were small block Chevys.
jeffro
in the movie the hood is open and its attached to the motor. hmmm
-Alex-
in the movie the hood is open and its attached to the motor. hmmm I'm sure there were at least 10 or more Chargers used in the film. A few to destroy with stunts, a few for close-up shots (like the garage scene you're talking about), and a few for further away shots or interior shots where the overall quality of the car doesn't matter as much. With the way this one looks and the writing on the door, I'd say it was used as a promotional car to show around during the time of the release. Nickey4271647545519
Doesnt really surprise me. The mustang in Tokyo Drift was "swapped to a rb26". While in reality all the drift scenes were done with cars that had 430cu.in. ford motors in them.

FST94TSI
Theres actually a guy here in town that has bought a large number of the cars from all of the fast and furious movies. Hes got a really cool collection in his garage. He usually buys the one or two that actually have the real motors in them rather than the ones that were built to look like cool cars.
