This car was previously running a mail order tune from a BIG name mail order company. The car never felt right which is how we got our hands on it. Basically what was happening was the car was going into cat overtemp protection and dumping fuel very early rpm range and due to the way the tune was done the car ended up being very rich with little timing up top and power fell like a rock. A quick tune took care of the problems and put power right where it should be for that combo.

How high are these cars revving stock? Every dyno I see with the Boss intake mani shows the cars going well past 7,000rpm and making healthy power up there.

Stock they make power to roughly 6700 rpm. With the boss intake it moves up a bit and it will make more peak horsepower.

Why is the one with the intake making less TQ? Damn good numbers, just can't get past how the rear on them looks.

Thats just the nature of the intake. Boss intake was designed to make power higher in the rpm. The tq loss down low was the trade off in design. On this car the tq drop is not a huge deal. With a manual, shifting at 7k brings you into the next gear around the 5k.You are always on the power curve and the rpm helps keep things moving. Everything works really well together.
