I used to get free and unlimited wifi tether on my phone. On Monday I let a friend stream netflix to his laptop, about 1/3 through the movie it stops playing, we hit refresh and a T-Mobile splash page comes up saying that I need to add it to my plan. fuuuuuuuu. I have unlimited everything also, T-Mobile just started doing this recently.

On the Iphone if you pay for tethering you are limited to your 2gb of data. I know AT&T will make you drop to 2gb of data from unlimited if you get the tether feature (Yes, even if you're grandfathered in).

If you jailbreak you can DL the app to tether and keep your unlimited data package.

On T-Mobile I don't know how this works exactly, but I'm sure you still have a data limit on your "unlimited" plan.

Seems to be the case now. I just turned it on and it's working. Gone are the days of unlimited data I guess.

T Mobile...:dumb:

Eh brah, send me an SMS thats over 160 characters long. No? How about LTE 4G of yours that's slower than my 3G...How about that constant cell tower communication that's eating away at your battery life? Data + Voice?

AND IT'S GERMAN SO YOU KNOW IT'S GOOD

tmo 3g (yeah they call it 4g) = 30mb down last time I checked

They are all turning into a bunch of assholes though

Are you seriously insinuating that Tmobile 3G users regularly enjoy 30 Megabit + download speeds ?

Peeps with HSDPA+ phones HAVE the possibility to, just like how Verizon fags with LTE phones can. Nice thing about tmobile is that it doesn't have 9zillion customers clogging up the series of tubes.

currently on EDGE :fuuuu:

I find it funny my verizon 4G LTE with only 1 bar uploads my porn pixtures faster then my RR Turbo connection. How fast does shitty-mobile get on uploads with 1bar of signal? 200Kb/s ?

You see, when I quoted figures, I was quoting actual real life testing, not what it is in theory capable of.

Well I'm on EDGE cause I work in Failaware, where my EDGE is just as fast (sometimes faster) as coworkers' verizon 3G connection. It's been tested...AT&T and T-Mobile > Verizon
