rl
I'm selling my Miller Tig. The welder works great, I used it very frequently, just upgraded to a square wave machine. This is a 230v AC/DC Tig. Comes with everything you need to weld except for a Argon tank and a plug. I replaced the Tig torch a few months ago as well. Same as this welder http://buy.gissn.com/Welding-System-p/1z878.htm Here is the craigslist ad with pictures Asking $1100 http://columbus.craigslist.org/tls/2515574157.html
35RFTW
Does this have the HF start or scratch start? I am fairly interested in getting into tig welding. Know enough at the moment to make myself dangerous lol. Been looking at the new tig unit from Eastwood that is only $850 new and has HF start and squarewave as well I believe. Would rather have a brand name though for sure. Also what is the duty cycle on it?
rl
Its a HF start. This is a nice unit, I weld a LOT of aluminum with it, it's never missed a beat. Weld quality is on par with my new square wave machine, I just have more control on thinner material. Not sure of the duty cycle, but I've never managed to hit the protection on it. I think its 20% @ 150amps.
Limitedslip7
I've had an EconoTIG for years and it has payed for itself many times over. Tons of aluminum and never had a problem with it.
