99-05 is the same before that its the sn 95 body style which is more rounded and fat looking. And what are you talking about the only one you posted that was the body style that I like they are asking $15,900 for so yeah the one I'm looking at is $6,000 cheaper and cleaner.

Got-busa non of those are convertibles and all but one are too far away to consider and Buckeye the first two ar SN style cars which I'm not a big fan of and the third is nice but it's $6,000 more than this guy is asking.

For what it's worth I drove the car yesterday and it drives nice, no valve train noise, no leaks, and this thing is really clean probably one of the cleanest that I have seen underneath is also very clean. Carfax shows no repeated service calls for anything wierd just the normal oil and lube stuff.

I was giving you some examples, PLENTY out there if you want a vert. Eithery buy an 01+ Cobra or get the '99 for under $7k....

If you are okay with the 96-98 SN95 style then I would get one of those for the money...otherwise a '99+ GT vert. will do what you need for less $$$.

you do know that 94 to 05 is the same car correct? and you made people think you are looking at the 99 for 10k. If it is 10 then the one I posted is a far better deal. If the 99 is 4500 then this all is a different deal less than 5k for anything convertible and 4v is a good price (even if it is a bastard child)

94-98 SN95 and 99-04 new edge technically is the same chassis......05+ is the S197!

94-95 5.0L

96-04 4.6L SOHC/DOHC

Yeah I can't do the sn95 I've seen some nice ones but I'm just not that into them. I've talked him down a bit so I'm going to go ahead and get it. I feel like I'm buying a Buell again everyone said don't do it but I couldn't have been happier with them, I hope this turns out the same way. Thanks for the advice.

Again busa all nice cars but to far away the most promising one is the yellow one in Findley and its $6000 more and it has some hail damage

Jesus man this isn't "columbus racing finds you a car". If you have a hard on for that car go a head and spend your money, but when you ask for our opinion don't blatantly disregard it. As most are saying there are going to be better cars for less money out there. Its late in the season, so you have all fall and winter to look.

Don't get me wrong, the car mechanically will be fine and you'll probably have fun with it BUT.....it's not worth $10-12k.....you are shooting yourself in the foot at that price...

To far away? Seriously?

I've seen built cars with superchargers and the works for $10-14k. What you are buying isn't worth anywhere near that price...

Yes too far away seriously. I don't know what kind of jobs out lifestyles you guys have but I can't just run down to alabama or north carolina to check out a car. I get what your saying but I'm just not seeing those deals where I'm looking our in what your posting. Those are some pretty sweet deals in that last post but then I've got to wonder about who installed the mods, if they were done correctly and how hard the car has ben beat on with those mods.

And Sturg I didn't ask anyone to find me a car I just asked what I should look for, and if there was anything specific to this model of car that I should look out for. Everyone who has posted links to cars has done that on their own accord and it is appreciated.

Depends how bad you want something and how much you want to save or deal. I had no trouble traveling 5+ hours to save a few thousand. One way tickets are fine and cheap. I picked up my wifes car from the port in Baltimore on a $59 Air Tran ticket and saved $6k...
