Scotty2Hotty
Still a fuck ugly car IMO. Atleast Mopar and FRPP have factory go fast goodies along with a slew of race teams to back their products. I don't see GM backing the Camaro as they have with the Vette. With that said, I still think it's great GM can muster up to the pony car game with a formidable contender. I'm on nobody's camp, but I still want to see the Roush Stage 3 and the new GT500. If Chevy brought out a Z28 model with say a 302 and the Challenger brought back the AAR name sake, I think Trans Am racing could be on the horizon. Got-Boost?
As much as I like the ZL1, can't help but say it won't matter... The next GT500 will make more power and be faster/lighter. At roadcourse stuff the BOSS is still the king and for what you save you can Turbo/Supercharge it and still have $10k extra in savings. Even with mods, look what the CTS-V's are running BPU and the current GT500's BPU. Subtract the weight from the CTS-V's figures and the ZL1 will be pretty close maybe a hair quicker...
