zeitgeist57
Check out Staley Shoe Repair. Dave Staley is the guy...he's had a small shop in the strip center next to the Ohio Theater and the Hyatt/Sheraton downtown (also Columbus Commons). Really knows his stuff. He mostly does dress shoes. He's resoled two purr of my Allen Edmonds and did a ripper job. I have seen boots at his shop so I know he does those too. If I had boots I'd bring them to him as well. He charges $40-60/pr for resoling, depending on what you have. That's for dress shoes (cork/leather sole, wood heel with a rubber anti-slip pad)...I would imagine simple treated rubber/gum boot soles would be cheaper... RyM3rC
There used to be a place in Tremont Center in Arlington that did good shoe work. Old mom & pop shop, but they did an awesome job resoling some vietnam-era combat boots, and a few work boots for around $40. Haven't used them in 10 years, but any cobbler should be able to handle this.
