ForeverMaker
You can try a chemical softener and then claybaring. If that doesn't work you may need to go with 8k --> 12k sandpaper, then a polish. Just be careful.

I used paint thinner to take off dried bird crap and a scuff on my mirror.. as long as you wipe it on fast and wipe it off fast your good.. Then wash it off and wax that spot.. STEVE-O
finger nail polish is safe and I will third it that I have used paint thinner on painted cars and as long as your not stupid with it it wont harm anything.
AudiOn19s
Since clay didn't work try in this order. - Nail Polish remover - Paint thinner If the chemicals don't work you'll need to step up to a paint polish or something abrasive to try that next. Preferably by machine but by hand could work too as long as it's not a really agressive compound. Finally if all of the above doesn't work 4000 grit works wonders for overspray and doesn't mess up the paint THAT badly. Obviously if you get to this point it's going to need to be followed by multiple stages of paint polishing.
