2011SVT
Let's see: - lighter than the 'maro at 3200 lbs vs 3500ish. - more powerful at ~425 rwhp vs. 380. and that much slower? really? That's what I call $200,000 worth of fail.

But I can't remember how it goes :gabe:

You are quoting crank vs wheel. 483hp - 20% = 386rwhp Won't even get into the issue of torque. :lolguy: Hell the F430 leaves at about 3000rpm's on that race, he's making about 150ft lbs of torque there..... Nobody buys a F430 to win drag races, it's geared to 200mph. This was definitely the Camaro's race. I'd be surprised if it didn't win.... Not sure where that is filmed, but F430's never came over here with launch control. They only came with 6 speed transmissions (6mt or F1). We have 2 cars making similar power to the wheels, one probably puts 100-150rwtq more, while the other has much higher gearing. Not taking anything away from the god-like LS1, lord knows they are awesome. Not likely the F430 owner is about to run out and buy a camaro however...:masturboy: Just because a car has launch control doesn't mean it was designed to drag race either..... Standing starts with a 8000rpm+ V8 aren't always easy...
