Spidey2721
Oh and what 38 (non plus p) range ammo you guys like?
Scotty2Hotty
I've run a bunch of white box winchesters through mine, and it seems to shoot just great. I use the critical defense hornaday for my +P goodness.
87GT
Winchester white box target ammo is the best invention ever made. Nothing wrong with spending $200 at a time on it
Scotty2Hotty
I've run some blazer and some other brands of .38, but it likes Winchesters. But belches a muzzle blast with some +P goodness. I need to tuck my thumb in with those +P rounds.

Otis Nice
Wifes S&W eats anything. I want an LCR to add to my collection. Let us know how you like it.
Don 95Vert
I had a .38 LCR, now I have a .357 LCR. The .38's and 38 +Ps are fun to shoot. The slightly heavier frame than the .38 model helps with recoil. The .357s are definitely NOT fun to shoot.
harmonda
I have the .38 LCR. It has become my fav home defense gun for having with me around the house, barn, property, etc. It is just so light and the ergos are perfect. I had a night sight installed. IMHO anything like tactical lights, lasers, etc. just indicate your position to your target. I like this so much I've been thinking about a Judge but if you check the stats...even the polymer model is almost twice as heavy.
87GT
.357 are not fun to shoot? Am I the only one who likes the feeling of going through at least 100 rounds of .357 on one trip to the range?

Am I the only one who likes the feeling of going through at least 100 rounds of .357 on one trip to the range? Not in the LCR. It's pretty damn light and compact. .357's out of my Ruger GP100 was great, but a snub nose revolver with full power .357's, ain't so enjoyable to most. It's like hitting a mail box with an aluminum bat at 60mph.

87GT
Wait the GP100 is 4" never mind you kind of answered my question...

The Ruger LCR is more tame than the scandium S&W .357's. The ruber grips do a great job in soaking up recoil.
