Rhett Posted October 18, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 18, 2011 What is the aba 2nd chance vest made of? I looked at the tags. It list the make up of the fabric. States that the carrier does not provide ballistic protection only the plate. So I am assuming that it is designed like older LE vest and will protect only against a stabbing and the plate will provide help for gun fire. I received an offer for $100 for the Vest and Plates (Plates are possibly for sale for the right price) I am asking $200 for just the Vest. These start around $500 new and go up. $300 Used with all the attachments. Plates are from $160-300 a Plate. If I were to sell the plates I would take possibly take $175-$200 for both.
