ForeverMaker
Can anyone recommend a shop for a quote? Called German Autowerks and their quote was decent but wanted to shop around first. '01 A6 Avant Quattro

ODoyle
Carquest and napa both can press bearings. The quest in reynoldsburg is usually same day. Call and ask for bob.
TurboNova
For napa or car quest to press the bearing you will need to removed the knuckle. That task can be fairly simple or a complete whore. If you do this yourself pay close attention to the pinch bolt that connects the two upper links to the knuckle. Most of the time you will need to purchase a new bolt. Check with PAP autoparts in powell they probably stock that bolt. Also might as well check the rest of the front end, they are usually junk after a few miles and need attention. Crossle
Thanks for the recommendations guys (I work at Northend Wrench) I would definitely give Acceleration a call as well over on High Street near Graceland shopping center. Awesome group over there as well. They do all of our major Euro work as far as valvetrain/head gasket stuff, but are totally capable of a wheel bearing obviously.
