Took the kids to Highbanks today. It was so packed that they actually had set out signs that said "the park is full, come again later" never saw that before. It was crazy finding a spot to park.

Had my camera but decided to make it an iPhone day. Just couple shots that I liked.

I can't wait to move to Oregon and build a home with a deck and walkway like this. We have the land and trees.

So my daughter has my old iPhone 4s and one can only imagine all the things they capture and do with them. Upon backing it up this weekend I found a crappy, grainy selfie type shot she must have tried pulling off at some point.

Most would delete it and not pay it any mind, but with the recent loss of our Xena, and the "hole it left in her heart", her words, I was able to pull together a little background wallpaper for her phone to remember her by.

Point being, don't delete even the crappy shots. Someday they might just shine through to tell a heartwarming story.

Enjoy.

Wanted to personalize my phone a little

Here's what I have my lock screen set as and then the file for wallpaper. 2560 x1440 quad HD for the Samsung Users out there.

Lock Screen on my Note 5:

^^ This one allows for decent placement of the icons.

Here's my Home Screen:

Monday April 4th marks the 2yr anniversary of my fathers passing. I cared for him for the last year of his life with the help of folks at Abbington of Powell. Great people there.

It's been a good week but I had my moments yesterday as the sun went down and I remembered him as this was the week he was brought to Riverside Hospital. Something came over me and I just wanted to go on drive. It's something he and I would do and I always like to cruise along he river in Dublin and just stop and relax at various spots as we made our way north.

One day we ended up back at his care center in Powell and just sat on the bench and watched the sun set. My daughter knew that and suggested we go for a drive and end it back on our bench in front of Abbington to watch the sun go down.

Being the great little girl she is she grabbed my phone and took some pics while we sat there. I wasn't really paying much attention but this is a shot she pulled off and I think well. It's the view he and I had many times over.

Captioned by me but captured by the heart of a little girl with some great intentions. Thought I would share it as my last post tonight.

Read this and go hug your parents if you have them. I miss my dad like I never thought possible.

It's been a while since I jumped back into editing and camera fun but I'm trying to get back into it again.

Here's a quick before and after clean up I did for a friend who didn't like the background distractions.
