nurkvinny
So, it is time for an upgrade. I am looking to go smart phone this time, but I live in the boonies, and I have yet to find a carrier and/or cell phone maker that I can get decent service through. I drop maybe 3 or 4 out of every 10 calls. I know I can get an extender, but... So, the question is for those of you that sell or use different phones on Verizon... is there an appreciable difference between HTC vs Samsumg, vs Maker X? Looks like I am eligible for a lot of cool phones for free or next to free. Looking for advice. Thanks
04SVT
I have the Thunderbolt now and Incredible previously (HTC) LOVE THEM!!! But, if you go HTC plan on getting an extended battery. Battery life on HTC's SUUUUUUUCK!! I think the Droid Razr coming up looks interesting. But fixed battery. No option for extended. Just my $.

Just my $.02 this. love my tb. battery sucks. buy a desk dock and keep it on the charger when you're there. keep it connected to wifi when you're at home or work. it's worth the battery issues. CRed05
Wifi calling is your answer. That is if you have wifi at home. Verizon doesn't offer wifi calling, but Google Voice, Skype or Fring all have free wifi calling just to name a few.
Putty
Moving to Verizon this week for the same reason. Sprint service has gone to shit in Columbus!
pontiacfreak142
Good luck. Your in pataskala, your not getting service LOL. Hell I live right on the pataskala/reynoldsburg border and I still can't get service half the time. It doesn't help that pataskala has all of 1 whole tower... smokin5s
I have a thunerbolt and have the extended battery for it... I can go almost 2 days on a charge now. I will be picking up the Droid 4 whenever it comes out because I hate not having a physical keyboard, but the thunderbolt has done me great so far.
