It blows fuses as soon as you plug it in, maybe the amp? Pretty sure the speaker is still good. Never took the time to try to fix it so your buying this as is. Great sounding little speaker with a ribbon tweeter. This fit a 40" LCD with mucho room to spare. It should fit 4 average size a/v components well. I had my receiver, DVD player, DVR and XBox 360, plus I think the Wii at one point on it.
