I contend that the bench racers are ultimately better off for a few reasons. Cons of real racing: 1. Gas is expensive 2. Get sick of whatever you build 3. Shit breaks 4. Can wreck your dd into a wall at the track 5. Get to sell your car for 35 cents on the dollar when you are finished Pros of bench racing: 1. Get to race against people with your hypothetical car 2. Your hypothetical car is 400lbs lighter, and has 400whp more than anyone else. 3. Don't have to actually wreck 4. Don't have to actually leave your home 5. Shit is never broken 6. And there we have it folks. Thanks for playing. but srs though, I Bought a dirt cheap 04' 6spd gto around 7k mods in it for under 10k with a clear title and it runs like a raped silverback gorilla. The the car is flawless with nothing wrong with it visual or mechanical wise. :fuckyeah: EDITED: Around 5k in mods without adding wheels/tires. But just to get a jist of it. those 19's n tires on it were prolly around 2k, that 1pc aluminum driveshaft was 1200, etc... Don't really feel like adding up every part on it but i'm sure it isn't too far off from 10k. Theres more on the car then just a cam. It's engine is smaller than the V6 Accord or Camry, I was just as shocked as you! I don't have 10K into my 3.0L V6 sedan. Want to race ?
