I thought this was hard to beat... Just picked one up myself. I may try and build a race gun just for the hell of it

I thought the 4" + the compensator would be fine??

 

Don't waste your money, start with 5+ inches of barrel if you're really building a race gun. I'm not saying don't buy it, but don't try to make it into something its not. If I were to build a budget competition gun I'd start with the g34 or XDM 5.25 and go from there.

I never intended on actually competing with it. I really was just wanting to have a compensated high capacity pistol I could shoot faster.

I've shot one before and loved that the recoil was almost non existent, so faster accurate shooting was possible, but I hated the length of 5" plus the compensator...

Maybe it was a stupid idea. I guess I'll have to look into it more before actually doing it.

Either way couldn't beat the price, even if I leave it stock.
