BrianZ06
This is the truck I am going to look at this week. has a 327 and tranny out of a corvette. http://images.craigslist.org/5P55R05S43n03ma3l3bbh42ada7c7ad0e10b5.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/5Y15Z15P43kd3pe3l9bbh7ef0696310b2183f.jpg Looks like a 65 GMC or close. I have my eye on a 56 chevy pick up right now, but I think it is going to be more $ then I want to spend.
Linc5.0
It's a 1960 chevy and it's 1500 bucks. Runs but needs front and rear glass
TimTaylor751647545500
That's all it needs is glass?

IMO the 58 and 59s look better due to the dual headlight setup. but I'm biased (sold my '59 in 2008). OP that beast looks awesome. My '59 had a bored out 327 and corvette trans as well. Are you sure you're into a rat rod? I thought that kinda excluded something as pristine and beautiful as flat black paint, and looked more like this [i hope this can be hotlinked]: http://www.ridetech.com/gallery/files/1/13623A.jpg Mine was roughly that same color, but had a white lower half, and was fleetside/longbed. '58s and '59s can be had in good shape below $3k easily
BrianZ06
Nothing at all wrong those 58 and 59's. I like all of the oldies. I am still kicking myself for selling my 56 handyman wagon. Now I am trying to buy it back but the new owner loves it to much. No rat rod, just a cool wagon. I guess this is why I am so stuck on 56's. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/56handyman.jpg

Thats a damn cool wagon though, I've never understood why the U.S. fell in love with SUVs. Wagons look cooler and are easier to drive. Buick Roadmaster Estate FTMFW.
