There is an in-line pressure regulator with filter, and a water valve/"trap" at the bottom. It doesn't do too well. Noticible water in my air tools as they vent. I'm looking to do a cheap paint job...probably won't be until the early spring. To do a cheap paint job, I'd rather not buy a $400 dryer... http://www.harborfreight.com/compressed-air-dryer-40211.html Should I be worried about water in the lines for a cheap paint job? MattKatz Posted January 1, 2012 Report Share Posted January 1, 2012 No unless it's a big dollar one and even then you have to change the desiccant as it all gets saturated at some point.
