Stallion Motorsports1647545491
after 8 years my awesome altec lansing system gave way. it was replaced with a new logitech 5.1 system. everything is hooked up correctly from what i can tell, however should i hear sound out of all 5 speakers and sub when listening to music, and or youtube videos? i have sound out of all speakers when doing the audio test? stupid question are mp3's/youtube not in 5.1? thanks, tom
87GT
Not everything is in surround sound. Working as designed.
Trouble Maker
Yup, what he said. Maybe your computer audio drivers/software has some DSP mode to do this. For example my reciever has a "5-channel stereo" mode that works pretty well.
Stallion Motorsports1647545491
perfect...thanks. i ended up setting it up as 2 channel stereo, so all 5 speakers work while listening to music. we hardly ever watch movies on the computer. thanks again. tom
Fubar231
what logitech system is it? I know my Z5500 has effects and can change where the sound is coming from, depending if its set for movie, music, stereo, etc.
