IVRINGS
As of right now we are on a 30 year fixed FHA loan at 5%. I just called to see about redoing it, but they said due to FHA loans are needing like double the loan insurance now vs 2 years ago only lowered our payments $15-17. So we passed and was told to call in and check back later. They said for 30 year fixed they have 4.375 I think. Our loan was bought by US Bank if that matters. Nothing funny about the loan and house values have gone up last time I checked with the newer school and Kroger shopping area on 23 going in just around the time we bought the house. brent1976
I'm going to the bank tomorrow to sign the papers on mine. I got 2.99% and shortened it to 10 years. It was close to 6% for 20 years with 13 years left. It should save me 12k+ in the end.
2highpsi
Where does your loan to value fall? If you can put enough down to elimitate PMI and go conventional rather than FHA you'll save a ton.

That's not the best rate out there...I'm sure I can beat it with lower closing costs. Give me a call/email at 614-339-1206 or mstock@usavingsbank.com Thanks! I have always done all my banking through huntington, it has changed names 5 times since I started there, but they have never done me wrong. The loan specialist told me that my credit was way better than hers, and she thought she had really good credit, and my wifes credit score is 2 points lower than mine.
