I bought this truck last summer from a guy in Westerville who is a mechanic at Tilton's Automotive. I thought I would use it for hauling stuff, offroading, pulling a trailer or camper, etc. but all I really do is drive it to and from work. I don't need a truck, so I'm throwing this out there.

 

It's a 1997 Silverado extended cab, 1500 4x4, white w/ maroon interior, with a Vortec 350 and an NV3500 5-speed manual. It's not common to find a stick shift in a K1500 extended cab, especially with the 5.7 Vortec. Finding one in this good of shape is even more difficult in Ohio. The body has 238k on it, but is 99% rust free and the paint looks good. It spent most of it's life in Montana and Arizona. It's in nice shape other than a dent in the bed where someone hit me in a parking lot, but it doesn't look like it would be much work to straighten out.

 

I was told that the engine was replaced at 190k and that the trans was rebuilt when the clutch was replaced at 210k, but I have no proof. The truck runs and drives great. The heat, AC, cruise, power locks/windows, and 4WD all work as they should. The interior is nice and has a Pioneer head unit. The truck is all stock, but it does have a trailer brake control, towing hitch, and OEM clearance lights.
