Bought F1D pro charger Kit for the SS

Well, I bit the bullet and ordered a HOB F1d tuner kit today!!!

 

I will be running ~10lbs out of the gate on the motor in sig. A 20A BAP will be hooked up also.

 

I will need to buy bigger injectors (80ish lb) and probably an Aero340 pump.

 

My question is what are good injectors to support this?

I would go FIC 83/lb (96/lb under LSX fuel pressure). I'd say you'll probably see 85-90% duty cycle at WOT.

Great recomendation for injectors, my current set came from FIC, very happy with them.

 

I got a few other things to buy from what im being told:

BOV

Aero340

Injectors of course

When will the blower start to make boost? RPM wise. How much do you plan on running?

The F1 should be full boost around 3k rpm (3600 vertor). Out of the gate, 10lbs, then who knows, its up to the motor how much. But will probably top off under 15lb due to the high CR.

I would walk around with a full on raging boner if I just had that engine in place of my cammed 5.7. I wouldn't even be able to imagine how nasty that tbss will be after the blower goes on!!

Thanks! In your 99 you have the bosch style plug. I have the EV1 (I beleive i what they're called).The difference wasn't much in length at least for the TBSS's.

lol...Even 11 flat when I'm done, take off 1500ish lbs in a car .

Looks like I'm going to have ANOTHER new motor, but setup will be for pump gas.

why not run e85, and keep the compression? lot less than a new motor

He's not replacing the motor because he bought the blower, it may have developed an issue this weekend.
