JaSSon
GF wants to sell her Civic. It's a 2000 4 door Civic LX with ~192k miles on it. Auto trans, CD player, power windows, power locks with keyless entry. 1.6L SOHC engine. All stock, never modded. Drove the car Saturday, it drives fine and did not throw a CEL. +New distributor and coil +new wires +almost new plugs +new fuel filter +new exhaust manifold +new O2 sensor +timing belt and water pump done within the last few thousand miles +New radiator within the last few thousand miles -A/C doesn't work. The system is all there, but it leaks. No body rust, a few scuffs and dents, nothing major. Interior is in pretty good shape, with a few stains. Looks good overall tho. Asking $3000 OBO. Price based on quick quick CL search. Dent in hood and front pass door: http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/Civic/th_P1000811.jpg Small bumper scuff: http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/Civic/th_P1000812.jpg The worst of it: http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/Civic/th_P1000793.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/Civic/th_P1000796.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/Civic/th_P1000807.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/Civic/th_P1000805.jpg Edited May 11, 2012 by JaSSon Adj price
JaSSon
Bump. Make an offer. Have a DD with lots of new parts!
Not Brian
That is a really good price compared to what those cars go for nowadays with gas prices. 80's Civics are going for more than that.
JaSSon
. . . I did my research. Want to know the KBB value? Higher than I'm asking. And as I've said, price is OBO and the car has a couple hundred bucks worth of fresh tuneup and more parts. But I agree, the value of these cars is higher than I was expecting. JaSSon
Replied to PMs. To answer common questions: The tires have a few thousand miles left in them. I'd expect them to get you thru the summer, but not beyond. The timing belt/water pump were done 2-3 years ago. Gf estimates under 3000 miles on the new parts. It's not her DD, and it's not driven often.
