Quick Info:

1999 Ford Ranger XLT Sport - $4000 trade value

Item Description:

Putting this back up as a feeler. With the baby here now and this being my only vehicle currently, it's becoming a hassle switching vehicles with the wife every time I have to haul him while she's at work. At the same time, I hate to get rid of it because it's my only way of hauling my dirt bike. If caught on the right day, I'd strap the bike in the bed for a nice car. It's a super clean 2002 CR125 with a ton of new parts and very well maintained. With that said, I'm looking for a nice FWD car. Open to about anything, but obviously I need a back seat.

As the title says, it's a 1999 Ranger XLT Sport with the 3.0 Flex Fuel V6 and 5 speed. It's a 2wd single cab short bed and just rolled over 130k. I've done a lot of TLC to it recently and it shows, the truck is super clean for the year and runs and drives awesome. The A/C blows super cold and the heat is hot. It has manual locks and windows so no worries about those slowing down or dying motors. The truck has a few light scratches and dings associated with being a regularly driven 12 year old truck, but nothing major or super noticeable. The only rust at all is a small quarter size on the front and rear bumpers. I just put a set of Bullitt wheels on it with fairly new 235/55/17 Hankook Icebears. Put them on before winter and due to the fact that they only have a few thousand miles on them and I don't put many miles on it, I haven't put any summer/all seasons on.

Only issues is the parking brake sticks for a bit after it's been set but frees up after driven (I just leave it in gear and don't set it) and the gas gauge always reads full. From what I've read it'll read empty of it's the sending unit so I'm assuming it's just a short in the wire or something simple, I haven't looked into it at all honestly. I just reset the odometer on fill ups and get gas around the 200 mile mark but I've gone as far as 260 miles on a tank. Usually gets low 20s MPG going off of the trip odometer.

Looking to trade only for covenience, not out of necessity. If it doesn't sell it won't hurt my feelings. It's hard to find a truck this clean that gets this kind of gas milage for the money.

Bike is not for sale separately, but if it's thrown into the deal here it is. Has had new tires put on since this pic. Price listed above is truck only!

Would love to have a stockish Accord or Civic hatch or sedan. I'm open to about anything as long as it has a backseat that I can easily get a car seat in and out of.
