Every year a different charity is chosen to benefit from the event, instead of having prizes for the winners. This year, The Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis is the charity. http://www.acceleratedcure.org/ I'm impressed with what they are doing, and the charity is top-rated for finances, accountability, and transparency. We are asking our friends (who are comfortable donating) to make an online donation through our page at First Giving: http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/dox Even five or ten dollars will make a difference. Your donation goes through First Giving to The Accelerated Cure Project; none of it goes to the Rally or to our team. We are donating our time and paying all our own expenses (of course, we have a lot of fun in return, too).
