zeitgeist57
http://www.naplesnews.com/news/2012/jun/05/transit-of-venus-viewing-tonight/ I'd like to go anywhere locally that may have a filtered telescope. Thought it might be interesting for my daughter to view! Next one won't be for 105 years...I'll probably miss it. I checked NBC4i, but I swear that station reports nothing but bad news. Any local schools or astronomy clubs setting up outdoor viewing stations?
Tractor
You might see if the columbus astronomical society is setting up around town for it. Sometimes they do COSI's parking lot for planets and the moon. If not then perkins observatory would be the next best idea.
Tractor
Looks cloudy here, but if it turns out nice I could bring my scope to somewhere and set up for the evening.
