Guess I didn't update my last build thread frequently enough. Anywho, built shortblock, had a Vortech on it last year, now custom built 76mm turbo kit going on. AJE K member, MHS Stage 2 turbo cams, Turbonetics 76mm turbo .96 A/R, 80lb injectors, Turbosmart 40mm WG and 50mm Race port BOV, CG Fabrications forward facing turbo headers, custom hotside and cold side, 33x12x4" FMIC, etc. Some pics. Hopefully done by end of the month, going for 550whp on ~14psi.

\Some pics of the final product. Also while the K member was out, I lowered it.

Nice job and fab work looks good. I have had more fun with my turbo 2v than any of my other cars. Wish I had that same short block to crank the boost up a little though

Thanks man! I can't take any credit for the fab work though. That part Big 3 Racing did. I'm hoping this thing is as fun as people are saying its going to be! I've been doing nothing but watching videos of turbo 2v's and just can't wait.

I have daily driven the shop one I have here since 08 and maybe put 22-25,000 miles on it. The car is bone stock just with our turbo setup and 6-7psi. Very fun to drive, runs and drives like it did stock. Actually feels much better than stock in city driving situations. Then you brake boost it a little around 40 and spin the tires till redline without a problem. You will have a lot of fun with it

You should have no problem getting to that power goal around that boost level. I have a friend building a very similar combo, built motor, stock heads, comp cams, etc all going into a 2002 bullitt

I drove it some today with a base tune on it. This thing RIPS so much harder than the Vortech did. Little laggy and doesnt hit full boost til about 3800 but its understandable with a big turbo on a small motor. Haven't taken it to 6000+rpm yet because of only the base tune, but up to 5000 its awesome.

In not so boost friendly weather (95* shop and 140+ AIT's) it managed to make 515whp/545rwtq at 13.5psi. Total timing dropped to 10 degrees. On a cooler night we will re-dyno and keep it at 16* of timing. Should definitely hit my goal of 550whp with ease.
